According to Pulse of Radio,
International disarmament experts began dismantling and destroying Syria’s chemical weapons arsenal and the equipment used to produce it on Sunday (October 6th), starting what will be the huge task of eliminating the country’s chemical stockpile by mid-2014. The inspectors from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, acting on a mission endorsed by the U.N. Security Council, are overseeing Syrian personnel who are responsible for the actual physical demolition of the materials.
Let’s hope that more peace will come out of this.
