Ashley Reid — the daughter of L.A. Reid and Pebbles, has blasted TLC for the portrayal of her mom in their biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. On her online radio show Reid All About It Radio, Ashley said about how her family was portrayed in the film, “It was especially weird for me to see a bunch of f*ckin lies. That was interesting. They [T-Boz and Chilli] know what they lied about. They used mostly our family, mostly mom as a pawn for publicity to drive the whole entire film and she was actually in the majority of it.”
She added that her mom “plucked them and their dusty ass off the corner of the street and spent almost a million dollars” paying for doctor bills, food, styling, apartments, transportation, studio time, etc.
