Usher is being sued over his 2004 hit “Caught Up.” According to TMZ,
Three men: Zacharia Edwards, Mitch Moses and Vince McClean have claimed that they wrote the song back in 2002. They claimed that they played it for an exec at Arista Records and the exec later played it for L.A. Reid.
They guys say they never heard from anyone at Arista again, but two years later, they heard the song on the radio — and it ended up on Usher’s 2004 albumConfessions.
They are suing Usher for unspecified damages.
Uh oh! It’s seem as though Usher has gotten ‘caught up’ in a legal mess. Pun intended. lol
