According to the Telegraph,

 Volunteers in Texas have set a Guinness World Record by building the largest gingerbread house ever made to raise money for charity. Residents of Bryan, Texas used 7,200 eggs, 816-kilograms of butter, 3,265 kilograms of flour, and close to 1360-kilograms of brown sugar to build the exterior. The house was decorated with 22,305 pieces of hard candy. The house measures at 60-feet by 42-feet and contains nearly 36-million Calories. The money raised from the mouth-watering tours will help fund a new trauma facility for a nearby hospital. (Telegraph)
