Two major new studies have found the vitamins didn’t protect aging men’s brains or help heart attack survivors, just the latest research to show little benefit from the supplements. An editorial that accompanied the findings in the journal Annals of Internal Medicine said, “Evidence is sufficient to advise against routine supplementation.” However, other researchers say the evidence isn’t yet definitive.
Well, I’m going to need a definitive answer because I take a multivitamin daily and I would like to think that I’m getting all the vitamins and minerals that I need.
