The price of a first-class postage stamp will increase three cents to 49 cents on January 26th. The increase, approved by regulators, is supposed to be a temporary measure to help the U.S. Postal Service make up some of the money lost during the economic downturn. Until the new price takes effect, you can still buy “forever stamps” that can be used at any time in the future, no matter what the rate.
Just make it an even 50 cents! LOL
