This weekend, it’s all about the brothers. In the NFL, the last eight teams with a chance to get to the Super Bowl go head to head. What’s great about this year’s playoff class is that there are three Black quarterbacks doing the shot-calling – Seattle’s Russell Wilson, San Francisco’s Colin Kaepernick and Carolina’s Cam Newton.

On Sunday, the first of this year’s major awards shows, The Golden Globes, is taking place in L.A. and the always fabulous Idris Elba is up for two awards, one for his role on the BBC detective series Luther and another for his work as Nelson Mandela in Long Walk to Freedom. But of course you know what we’re wondering – will he bring his pregnant girlfriend Naiyana Garth and will he wear a bow tie after blowing up the Internet with this tweet? Well, you’ve have to tune in to find out. Here’s what else is happening this weekend.
