Oprah Winfrey’s 60th birthday party apparently became too much for her to deal with. E! Online is reporting that the former talk show host has decided to scrap plans for a big star-studded bash to celebrate the milestone.
According to the website, the guest list was getting to out of control which led to her decision to call the whole thing off. Oprah’s pal Gayle King explained, “She’s still trying to figure out what’s the best way to celebrate.”
She talked about turning 60 on CBS This Morning over the summer saying,
“Own it. Because you think of what you thought 60 was and what you imagine 60 to be. But this is how I live my life: I think about all the people that didn’t make it. I think to be able to claim that number, to own it. Bring it on”
