Ballerina Misty Copeland is one of many women we’re celebrating during March, Women’s History Month. Raised in the Seattle area, Copeland overcome huge obstacles, including a public court battle with her own mother, to excel in her chosen career. She became the first ever African-American soloist for the American Ballet Theater and is now considered among dance’s greatest performers. Her memoir Life In Motion: My Story of Adversity and Grace was just released.

The men are doing their thing this week as well. Robin Thicke, currently on the “Get My Woman Back” tour, stops into Madison Square Garden with K Michelle (we’re sure those two have a lot to talk about) and Jamie Foxx is in Atlantic City, while Keith Sweat checks into Hampton, VA.

In the movies, 300 returns for its second chapter 300 Rise of an Empire. OWN is hot this weekend with Tyler Perry, Nia Long and Kym Whitley’s Raising Joshua’s explosive season finale.

Read on for more of what’s happening this weekend.
