(HOUSTON) — A woman appeared before a judge Friday after allegedly firing shots the day before at the ABC13 KTRK-TV offices in Houston.

Michelle Monique Burks, 44, is charged with deadly conduct, evading arrest or detention in a vehicle and discharging a firearm in a habitation, building or vehicle. Her bond amounts total $40,000.

The Latest News Headlines, Traffic and Weather:

The Channel 13 studios are on Bissonnet near Buffalo Speedway. Burks allegedly fired multiple shots at the building. She then drove onto Bissonnet, got out of her car and fired more shots at vehicles in the parking lot.

No one was injured, but five shots were fired into an office where an employee was sitting.  One of the bullets came in proximity “to where her head would have been positioned,” a prosecutor said.

Police said Burks took off in a Camaro, heading west on Bissonnet and then north on Edloe. She was chased by police, pulling over a couple of times but continuing at a slow speed. She was finally stopped and detained on Richmond Avenue at the 610 Loop.

Officers found shell casings at the scene, and bullet fragments were collected from an office inside the building.

of abc13 sent SSA a picture of me and my 2nd ex-husband on my sofa in my home and sent it to SSA saying I was performing pornography on TV.”

She also says on Facebook that she is ex-U.S. Navy, which we have not yet confirmed.

Some neighbors think Burks’ behavior began going downhill after her husband left her. We spoke to one neighbor who told us he is concerned for the woman’s mental health.  He said he could see signs that something was not right:
