While investigating the altercation, deputies were told there was a 5-year-old boy who was being abused and neglected in the home.
The boy was reportedly forced to live in a closet under the stairs.
According to investigators, the boy’s step-mother took him out of the house that night before deputies arrived.
Deputies tried to track down the boy, but they said the father and step-mother were uncooperative and led them to false locations.
Friday night, Pct. 4 Dep. K. Nelson stopped by the house again to conduct a welfare check on the boy, but he wasn’t there. Deputies felt the boy was in danger, so they worked with the step-mother’s cell phone provider to track her to Humble.
In Humble, the deputies went from motel to motel until they spotted the step-mother’s vehicle outside a motel in the 9700 block of the West FM 1960 Bypass and saw the father leaving a room there.
Deputies entered the room and found the step-mother and the boy. As soon as they saw the victim, they called for EMS to transport him to an area hospital.
Doctors at a hospital in Humble recommended the victim be taken to another hospital in downtown Houston. He reportedly had bumps and bruises, and he was severely underweight. The Pct. 4 Constable’s Office released photos Monday.

Bradley Bleimeyer was being held Monday without bond. Tammi Bleimeyer had bond set at $2,000.
The victim was still in the hospital Monday in CPS custody.
