LaShunda Williams, Program Manager, African American Studies Program U of H discusses the annual scholarship gala celebrating 45 years and honoring the legacy of Dr. Marguerite Ross Barnett, the first female and only African American President of the University of Houston. The keynote speaker for the May 2nd Banquet at the University of Houston Hilton Hotel will be Amy Barnett, Editor-in Chief of Ebony Magazine and daughter of Dr. M. Ross Barnett.
