(HOUSTON) — He’s a Houston institution typically found dancing on rollerblades for Allen Parkway motorists.
But Sunday, Juan Carlos was promoted from one of Montrose’s most famous attractions to national TV sensation as he skated his way into the hearts of viewers on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”
Watch Juan Carlos’ amazing performance below…
Carlos took to the stage gyrating to the sounds of “These Boots are Made for Walking,” and won over everyone… with the exception of judge Howard Stern.
Stern activated his “X” early, dismissing the skater as “no good,” to the boos and jeers of the audience.
But, judges Howie Mandel, Mel Brown, and Heidi Klum believed enough in the Houston mainstay to send him on to the next round of competition.
