(HUMBLE, TX) — A Kingwood mother is charged after allegedly leaving her toddler in her car while she went to a nightclub.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Stetsons Nightlife on the Eastex Freeway in northeast Harris County.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Uzma Sheikh tried to get into the bar with her 3-year-old child, but a deputy working at the door refused to let them inside.
Deputies said she left and then he then left and came back. This time, she told the deputy she left her kid with a friend.
The deputy became suspicious and walked to her vehicle. He reportedly found the toddler alone in the car.
Sheikh was arrested and charged with endangering a child.
