Police with a painting two males allegedly tried to steal

(HOUSTON) — Two men were arrested early Friday and accused of trying to steal a large painting from a high rise in downtown Houston.

It happened around 1 a.m. at JPMorgan Chase Tower600 Travis at Capitol.

The suspects somehow had credentials to gain access to the building after hours. Their plan apparently was to take a painting from a wall and exit through a service door from the basement, escaping along the outside sidewalk.
