Sugar Land is a great place to live. The city has been getting a lot of love in recent years. Now, Money Magazine has come out and named Sugar Land the best place to find a job.
Unemployment sits at just 4.2 percent.

Doug Adolph is a city spokesperson.
“We are a regional employment center with more than 54,000 jobs,” he said. “We’re home to high-profile regional and international corporations.”
And what exactly makes businesses want to go to Sugar Land?
“Sugar Land is one of the most diverse cities in Texas, and we think that is a strong selling point when we’re looking to attract potential companies to our town,” Adolph said. “We’re a high-wealth city with strong demographics, a highly educated work force in close proximity. These factors all combine to create a really strong selling point for corporations in our city.”
Sugar Land was also named the third best place to live in the nation, and is also one of the state’s safest places to live.
