“What!? No! Say it isn’t so.” This was my first response as I read news this morning that comedian Chris Rock, who’s currently heavy on the scene promoting his new film “Top 5”.
Call it coincidence, as I do not believe his new schedule has anything to do with his new decision to divorce. Yes, I did say HIS decision. While I am of the opinion that most divorce cases are not spearheaded by the man, Chris Rock indeed is the one who made the final decision to file for divorce.
According to Sandra Rose the news or confirmation of the news comes from Rock’s own attorney, Robert S. Cohen who stated in a press release this weekend that ”
“Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak,” Cohen said in a statement. “This is a personal matter and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family.”
