We the streets for this year’s Fourth of July of not just Houston, but Pearland and Friendswood too. Live music, food and fireworks were in full effect. First stop, the Freedom Over Texas celebration at Eleanor Tinsley Park.

Next the Boom Crew showed love at the Celebration of Freedom in Pearland at Pearland High School. Attendees

In Friendswood, the city held their 120th Annual Fourth of July Party at Centennial Park. Fourth of July in FriendswoodThis year’s theme “We the People” was a hit as everyone started out the celebration with the national anthem decked out in their best red, white, and blue. Skydivers then closed out the opening featuring the American and Texas flags.

The Spazmatics, and 80s cover band, headlined the live show singing songs ranging from Cyndi Lauper to Biz Markie. There was also many fun activities for the kids such as swings, a rock wall, and even a mechanical bull. The festivities ended with a fireworks show some say is the best in the area.
