UPDATE: It’s being confirmed that Lamar is suffering from a drug overdose. A source says “virtually every drug imaginable was found in his system.” Witnesses are also confirming track marks noted on Lamar’s arm, as well as cocaine and opiates in his system. One of the women who spent the weekend with Lamar said he admitted to doing cocaine days before arriving.
He has also suffered from strokes while unconscious and may have had brain damage. Doctors are saying 4 of Lamar’s organs are failing, including his kidneys, decreasing his chances of survival.
Things continue to go downhill for former NBA player and reality star Lamar Odom. After his marriage to Khloe Kardashian ended, Odom hasn’t been much in the public eye except for a few bizarre appearances – including one where he supposedly confronted his soon-to-be-ex wife outside her early morning Soul Cycle class.
But now it appears Odom may be facing a battle for his life.
TMZ.com reports:
Sources at the Love Ranch tell us … 35-year-old Odom arrived at the Ranch Saturday and was partying with the girls for days. A source at the Ranch said Lamar was taking an herbal substitute for Viagra.
We spoke with Hof … who tells us Tuesday afternoon, a woman went into Odom’s room in the VIP suites and found him unconscious.
We’re told the woman began screaming for the manager — who called 911.
The manager rolled Lamar over on his side and saw “mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth.”
