Jesus, help us not to be trolled for this one.

Ok, you guys, we’ve had something on our hearts for a really long time that we want to share with you. During today’s daily TeamBeautiful morning meeting, we got to talking about journalist, power-woman and BFF to Oprah, Gayle King. And, after much heated discussion, we decided that we want to stage a Gayle King wig-tervention.

Meaning, we love Gayle but hate her wigs. Meaning, please someone help this incredibly smart, talented, beautiful, well-to-do woman not have such a mess on her head at all times.

We can’t help it — we think about it often. Maybe it’s because as Black women, we take our hair very seriously. Or maybe it’s an issue of ours. Who knows — but whenever we see photos of her, her dresses are always nice, she always has inspiring things to say — but then we get to her wig and literally CANNOT look away. We swear we’re not trying to be mean, petty, superficial or difficult. But it’s really distracting.

We want to see Gayle win — really, she’s already winning without our help [Hello, she’s one of #TeamBeautiful’s career inspirations], but we want to see her win on all fronts. Including those lacefronts.

Please don’t be mad, Gayle. But please, get some hair help!

What do you guys think? Are we doing too much? Or do you agree with us?
