Over the weekend, 3-time Grammy Nominee, Singer/Songwriter Raheem DeVaughn and his LoveLife Foundation, in conjunction with Lisa Denae of Cultivate Culture, Inc. hosted the foundation’s special “Queen For a Day” Event. With the help of Salon Park Meyerland owner, Bonner Brinson, this private event catered to women who were domestic violence and trauma survivors in Houston, TX by treating them with well-deserved services consisting of hair, nails, make-up, and eyebrows provided by independent salon professionals operating in Salon Park Meyerland. Lunch was provided by Keisha Bocage of Bocage Catering, dessert by Soc It To Me Cakes, popcorn by Rhonda’s Popcorn, and donated gift bags by Brashaes Beauty Supply and Studio Fix Beauty Supply.
