Here’s a story you might be interested in if you’re a fan of FanDuel and DraftKings.  According to The New York Times,

FanDuel and DraftKings, the two largest fantasy sports companies, plan to fight an order issued Tuesday (November 10th) by the New York attorney general to stop taking bets because the online gaming constitutes illegal gambling under state law. FanDuel CEO Nigel Eccles said Wednesday that he believes his business is legal, telling reporters, “We are going to use every avenue to stay open.” Schneiderman asserted that fantasy gaming is a game of chance, not skill, and is therefore illegal gambling. But Eccles said, “If you don’t know football, you don’t know basketball, you will quickly find out it’s a game of skill.” DraftKings also said yesterday that it will, quote, “pursue this fight to the fullest.”

This will be an interesting fight.  Do you play the fantasy games for money?
