Black Hollywood represented at Elle’s “6th Annual Women In Television Dinner” at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, California. Elle’s February cover stars Viola Davis and Priyanka Chopra attended. Viola’s “How To Get Away With Murder” co-star Aja Naomi King came representing TGIT (Thank God It’s Thursday). ‘Black-ish‘ star Tracee Ellis Ross and Yara Shahidi attended the event as well.

Viola Davis’ style is a style chameleon…and I’m here for it. She gave us natural glam on the Elle Magazine cover and is serving fit and flirty style in a little black a-line dress for the event. I love the smoky eye. In the February issue, the three time NAACP Image Award winner, stated,
“We’ve been fed a whole slew of lies about women. By TV standards, if you are anywhere above a size 2, you’re not having sex. You don’t have sexual thoughts. You may not even have a vagina. And if you’re of a certain age, you’re off the table.” ~ Viola Davis
At 50, Viola Davis continues to serve! She sat next to her Elle cover co-star, Priyanka Chopra at the event. Priyanka did an Instagram take over for Elle, posting behind the scenes of her getting glam for the celebratory event.
Priyanka decided to wear a stunning blue Vionnet Paris dress to the event. I love the texture and architecture of this dress. The bow meeting her thigh high slit creates a sexy and flirty look.
Aja Naomi King went with the bridal white trend we’ve been seeing during award season. Her statement necklace is by Hearts on Fire and her dress is Alice and Olivia.

Tracee Ellis Ross SERVED last night. Mixing high-end and vintage she looked perfect. Wearing a patterned Chloe dress, she completed the look with Lisa Eisner earrings, simple Kurt Geiger shoes, and a vintage back that’s so cute!
Ross’ Black-ish co-star Yara Shahidi came out in black and white style. With a fresh face and an effortless top bun, she was ready to soak up all the knowledge and women power in the room. The event was inspirational to this young star as she hashtagged, #RoomOfMentors via her Instagram.
