Will Smith has opened up about him and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s style of parenting.
During a recent radio interview, Will explained why he and Jada thought it was best to encourage their kids to express themselves creatively, saying,
“I think it might have been a mistake, we may have gone too far.”
He went on to address some of the reactions his son Jaden has received because of his clothing choices. Will said,
“You have to be comfortable doing things that you could fail. Jaden is 100 percent fearless, he will do anything. As a parent it’s scary, it’s really terrifying, but he is completely willing to live and die by his artistic decisions and he doesn’t concern himself with what people think.”
Good for him for being self-aware and good for Jaden for being, well, Jaden.
