Tessanne Chin, the season 5 winner of The Voice, is serving up some R&B realness in her new single, “Love Suicide.” Following up on her last single, “Fire,” (which she says embodied “woman power… a modern anthemn”) she now shows of her sultry, sexy side in “Love Suicide.”
Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, the talented singer songwriter can’t help but channel her island roots into her music even in the most subtle ways. Raised by two accomplished musicians, her ability to create music is essentially innate. She has sung back-up for Jimmy Cliff, sung duets with Adam Levine and Celine Dion and has even sung at the White House on the same bill Aretha Franklin.
Now, Tessanne aims to re-introduce herself to the world. “A lot has happened since The Voice. There is so much more to me than that,” she says. “I want to reintroduce myself and say, ‘Hi – how are you doing?’ I want listeners to come on this journey with me.” Check out the audio player above and to introduced to Tessanne Chin’s gorgeous vocals in “Love Suicide” now!
