Federal researchers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday (February 18th) that,

More than one-third of Americans aren’t getting enough sleep, which puts them at risk for conditions like obesity, diabetes and heart disease. The CDC experts looked at health surveys for 400,000 Americans and found that only 65 percent said they get seven hours or more of sleep a night. People in Hawaii were the least likely to get enough sleep, with only 56 percent reporting seven hours or more a night, while South Dakotans were mostly likely to get enough shut-eye, with 72 percent saying they got seven hours or more.

I make SURE that I get my seven a night.  For real!
