Comedian Garry Shandling died on Thursday (March 24th) at the age of 66.

According to TMZ,

Emergency services were called to his home in L.A. where he was taken to a local hospital still alive. Sources say he was not suffering from any illness and sounded healthy while speaking to people earlier in the day.

Garry was best known for his work on It’s Garry Shandling’s Show which aired on Showtime from 1986 to 1990. It was nominated for four Emmys.  He was also successful at HBO with his comedy, The Larry Sanders Show, which ran from 1992 to 1998 and won an Emmy for its series finale. R.I.P. Garry.
