Due To Severe rain and flooding in the Houston area, Comcast has opened up the XFINITY WIFI hotspots to anyone who needs them in the Houston Region – including non-XFINITY Internet subscribers, to help residents and emergency personnel stay connected during this time.
To Access Xfinity WiFi hotspots:
Visit http://www.Xfinity.com/Wifi for a map of XFINITY WiFi hotspots, which are located both indoors and outdoors. Once at a hotspot the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots and then launch a browser.
XFINITY Internet customers can sign in with their username and password, and while be automatically connected at XFINITY WiFi hotspots in the future.
Non-XFINITY Internet subscribers should visit the “Not an XFINITY Internet Customers” section on the sign in page to get started.
