Jennifer Hudson Joins ‘Hairspray’

Jennifer Hudson has signed on to play Motormouth Maybelle in NBC’s upcoming Hairspray live musical.
The role was played by Queen Latifah in the 2012 movie. It was also revealed that Tony winner Harvey Fierstein will played Edna Turnblad, the role he originated on Broadway.
