Update: Of the two men dead, it’s “possible” one was the shooter.
Police in California are searching for an active gunman after two people were shot and killed at the University of California, Los Angeles Wednesday.
LAPD and UCLA Police are trying to find an active shooter after reports of a shooting near the engineering building in the center of the UCLA campus at 10 a.m. PT. Officials placed the campus on lockdown as police and SWAT officers swarmed the surrounding area.
UCLA students and staff have been told to shelter in place. This is the last week of classes before finals at UCLA. Anyone who is not onsite has been told to stay away from the campus.
