In spite of the recent unfortunate incident at the Cincinnati Zoo where a 4-year old child fell into a gorilla enclosure, it’s important to note that this is not the first time this has happened. During the 80s and 90s there were two other children that this happened to, but there was a very different outcome. The mother as well as the zoo has been under tremendous scrutiny.
