First Amber Rose got a new show, now it’s Marc Lamont Hill’s turn.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the CNN commentator, Columbia University professor and BET News host will be the face of “Vh1 LIVE!” a live weekly late-night talk show on the Viacom-owned network VH1. Produced by Embassy Row (Watch What Happens Live, Talking Dead), Hill’s show will be a fusion of pop culture, entertainment news and gossip along with sit-downs with some of Vh1’s biggest stars.
And when you think about it, Hill is perfect for the job. Vh1 describes the Philadelphia native and author as “one of the nation’s leading voices on culture, sports and politics,” and said he “infuses his opinions with equal parts unfiltered wit and raw street savvy.”
As expected, the congrats were flowing on Twitter:
“Vh1 LIVE!” debuts Sunday, July 17, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Congrats Marc!
BEAUTIES, will you be watching?
