Do you all remember Toya Graham?

Last year, the Baltimore mother became a national celebrity when a video went viral of her beating her son who was about to join Freddie Gray protesters. Well she’s back and this time seeking help for a family tragedy–her home recently burned down.

According to the WBFF News, on Saturday they suffered an accidental fire, a result of her same son, Michael, 17, frying chicken tenders in their kitchen.

“I had stepped away to the bathroom real quick,” the teen told the news outlet. “When I got back, there was smoke and fire coming from the pan.”

Then, Michael made things worse by throwing water on the grease fire, which prompted him to have to call 911 as the blaze heightened. Thankfully, no on was injured.

The single mom of six said that she doesn’t blame her son, but she’s still angry. She admitted that she doesn’t have renter’s insurance.

“I’m tired of the struggle, I feel broken,” she said. “You try to hold on because you try to do everything, you try to be strong for your children. You try, but this is a lot.”

Graham has set up a GoFundMe page for donations.

Sending the family lots of prayers.

It’s not a secret that female athletes have endured a lot of sexist and problematic media coverage during the 2016 Olympics in Rio, but one tennis player wasn’t having it when it came to Venus and Serena Williams, The Grio reported.

When BBC presenter John Inverdale asked Andy Murray, the 2016 and 2012 Olympic gold medalist, “You’re the first [tennis player to] ever to win two Olympic tennis gold medals. That’s an extraordinary feat, isn’t it?” Inverdale asked.

Murray was quick to feet to correct Inverdale, saying “I think Venus and Serena [Williams] have won about four [gold medals] each.”

Actually, Venus has five and Serena has four, but thank you Andy for stepping up and setting the record straight. We definitely need more male athletes to do the same.

While more than 40,000 homes have been demolished in Louisiana because of recent floods, Airbnb wants to help these families in need. On Monday, the housing website activated its disaster response tool, which enables users to post their homes for free, the Huffington Post noted.

Fees are not only being waived for guests (6-12 percent), but for hosts who are charged a  three percent fee of the reservation subtotal, the Huff Post wrote. This service that will continue up until September 2.

“People are losing everything they have,” Airbnb representative Nick Shapiro told the news outlet. “We have an ability to help people, at least in the short term, to get a comfortable bed, a home-cooked meal ― which is a very different experience from what they’d get in a shelter,” he added.

The disaster response tool isn’t news: It was first launched after Hurricane Sandy in 2012.

However, this news comes at a time where the housing company has faced a slew of complaints about racial discrimination, a pending lawsuit and studies showing how hosts are apprehensive to rent to people with African-American sounding names.
