Jay Pharoah has no hard feelings about his exit from Saturday Night Live.
He discussed the situation saying, “I’m not coming back to SNL. Transitions on shows happen all the time, but I won’t be back.” Jay added, “Listen, man, transitions happen at the show. That’s how it happens and I’m just looking forward to getting on White Famous. That’s what I’m on now.”
He also said of his time on the show, “You brush shoulders with so many people and I’m going to miss seeing everybody every day. I love them. They are my family.” Jay joined SNL in 2010.
White Famous is an upcoming Showtime series being executive-produced by Jamie Foxx about a comedian who is rising in popularity and trying to maintain his image and credibility as he goes mainstream.
