For a second consecutive week, the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee is bringing its Touchdown Tour, a one-of-a-kind Super Bowl fan experience, to the Houston area with a stop at Constellation Field in Sugar Land.
The Touchdown Tour stop, which will be held from 5 – 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, will feature great exhibits and football-themed games for fans to enjoy. There will be interactive games, a Houston Texans mobile locker room, special photo booths, giveaways, music and more. A beer garden and food will be available for purchase.
The event is free and open to the public. Patrons wishing to attend the Sugar Land Skeeters game will need to purchase a game ticket for entry into the stadium.
The Host Committee’s Touchdown Tour brings the excitement of the Super Bowl directly to Houston region communities and energizes the area for the Big Game, which will be played at NRG Stadium on Feb. 5, 2017.
The first Touchdown Tour stop was held last weekend at Space Center Houston and drew a large and enthusiastic crowd to see retired astronaut Scott Kelly return the football that spent five months with him aboard the International Space Station to the Host Committee. The football was used in the official handover ceremony from the San Francisco Bay Area Host Committee to the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee following Super Bowl 50 in February.
