TMZ has reported that Chris Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, is aware that the singer’s recent assault case against Baylee Curran isn’t making any progress, despite the LAPD claiming that they’re doing a full investigation. Geragos says the case against his client has actually fallen apart. The singer was due in court for his arraignment last Tuesday (September 13th), but the authorities missed that deadline. Meanwhile, the police have yet to present the file to the District Attorney.

Law enforcement sources, on the other hand, have said detectives are in the thick of their investigation and are interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence. Chris’ arraignment date was extended 15 days so that detectives can finish their investigation and push the case forward to prosecutors.

As previously reported, Brown was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon last month after Curran accused him of pulling a gun out on her while at the singer’s home.

On another note, Chris is capitalizing off of the situation and is selling “This B  Lyin'” t-shirts, with a drawing of a woman crying on the back of the shirt.
