A minor injury won’t stop the show for Beyonce. The singer performed at her husband, Jay Z’s, “Tidal X 1015” concert this past weekend and halfway through her performance, Bey ripped her earlobe. According to Us Weekly, during Bey’s performance of “6 Inch,” her dangling earring appeared to have gotten caught on her long braid, yanking the earring out of her ear. Bey’s ear was visibly bleeding and as she transitioned to her record, “Haunted,” she was seen wiping blood from her earlobe and looking at her finger. Bey, however, didn’t skip a beat and continued with her performance.

Meanwhile, during her set, Beyonce also encouraged the crowd to vote. She said, “I know this year has been extremely hard for us/ I know sometimes I’ve felt powerless and frustrated. There’s been so much negativity and nonsense. It can be easy to feel hopeless and want to just block the world out, but doing nothing right now is not an option, y’all. I know it seems like things are bad, but if you think they can’t get worse, just ask your grandparents.”

She continued, “Remember, Barack Obama is our president. You made that happen. Young people made that happen. We are not helpless. The fire is still burning. Please go out and vote this November. So many people have died and sacrificed so much for us to have our voice. We have to use it. Get in formation. Use our voices to do something great for our children.”

In other Bey related news, according to Rap-Up, the singer’s recent “Formation World Tour,” — which ended on October 7th in New Jersey, earned more than $256,084,556. The tour sold 2.2 million tickets.
