Chaka Khan and Janet Jackson have been announced as two of the 19 nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s class of 2017, alongside the likes of Pearl Jam, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and Tupac . There are only five spots available. The winners, who will be decided by a group of artists, historians and music industry members, are set to be announced in December. The official Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will then take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center next April.
