Bill Cosby intends to restart his entertainment career after he’s cleared of the criminal sexual assault charge pending against him, his lawyer argues in a defamation lawsuit filed against him by seven women.

Attorney Angela Agrusa is urging a judge to seal documents containing information about Cosby’s compensation for his performances.

The women suing Cosby in federal court in Massachusetts argue he has no future in show business and won’t be hurt by disclosing that information.

But Agrusa called that claim “baseless” in a response. “When Mr. Cosby is cleared from all liability and charges … he expects to resume his career, and there is no reason to believe otherwise,” she wrote.

“But disclosure of this type of financial and business information is irreversible.”

Last month, Cosby’s legal team declared that he’s legally blind—which they claim will prevent him from defending himself at his criminal trial.
