Shrimp & Bacon Mac and Cheese

Source: /                                Shrimp & Bacon Mac and Cheese                         4 strips of thick cut bacon, cut into small pieces   1 teaspoon of olive oil

4 cups of cooked pasta (I used gemelli and rotini – so ghetto, I know – it’s all I had left)

1 pound of jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons of butter

2 tablespoons of flour

2 cups of half and half

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of pepper

1 pinch of garlic powder

1 pinch of onion powder

2 cups of shredded cheese – your choice (for this, I used what I had left over Gouda, Velveeta, Cheddar, and Mozzarella)

1/2 cup of sour cream

*shredded cheese for topping
