Wow, getting a fine for texting while walking is really becoming a thing.  Here’s an article from TIME explaining,

Last month Honolulu, Hawaii adopted a law that sees walkers peering down at their phones getting fined, and now another U.S. city is thinking about adding the law as well– Stamford, Connecticut. Stamford Mayor David Martin explains,

“The point is, if you’re on the street and not paying attention, it’s dangeous.”

This proposed cell-phone crosswalk ban would mean citizens could face a $30 fine if they get caught staring at their phone while walking around the city. The Honolulu law, which goes into effect in October, will see fines starting at $15 and going as high as $99 for multiple violations.

I don’t know how I feel about this.
