Tom Joyner Friends With Benefits Comedy Show

The BlackAmericaWeb.com Relief Fund, founded by nationally syndicated radio personality Tom Joyner, is hosting a “Friends with Benefits” Comedy Show to raise money for families who have greatly affected by Hurricane Harvey and Irma.

Joyner, along with comedians Huggy Low Down and Chris Paul, will headline the shows that will take place October 26 and 27 at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club, 7719 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, Md. 20814. There will be two shows each night at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The shows will feature a host of comedians, such as Guy Torry, Marvin Dixon, Damon Williams, Jay Lamont, Ed Lover, Griff, and Nannette Lee. Additional comedians will be joining the fun and laughs.

“It’s good to have friends you can count on and my friends happen to be comedians,” Joyner said.  “They are all donating their stage time to help us raise money, and for that I am grateful”

The shows will feature a host of comedians, such as Guy Torry, Marvin Dixon, Damon Williams, Jay Lamont, Ed Lover, Griff, and Nannette Lee. Additional comedians will be joining the fun and laughs.  One hundred percent (100%) of the door proceeds will benefit the BlackAmericaWeb.com Relief Fund a certified IRS 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

To date, the fund has raised more than $500,000 to assist families who have submitted applications to the BlackAmericaWeb.com Relief Fund’s website, BAWReliefFund.org.
