Houston City Council member Dwight Boykins joined Mayor Sylvester Turner in announcing the new Sunnyside Multi Service Center (MSC), which will provide vital health screenings for seniors and enhance the overall quality of life for residents in District D.
The new MSC will be located at 4410 Reed Road near Cullen less than a mile from the current location. With a fully operational health clinic, the $25 million facility will continue to function as a convenient hub, delivering first-rate health care, along with social and other related services in the heart of the historic Sunnyside neighborhood. The location will also service surrounding communities.

Additionally, nearly an acre and a half of land directly to the south will accommodate a new community park in an area that has been designated by the Houston Parks and Recreation Department as a “very high need” park area.

“Sunnyside’s burgeoning population and the ever-evolving needs of my constituents necessitate a dramatic expansion of the services provided to the community,” said Council Member Boykins.“The new MSC will play a critical role in advancing that effort.”
