Cassandra Damper, the woman at the center of Sunday’s controversial Facebook Live shooting stood before a judge Thursday to answer for additional charges in the shooting.
She was charged yesterday with aggravated assault – serious bodily injury in the April 1 shooting that left one man critically injured. Devyn Holmes, the victim, is said to be recuperating in Ben Taub Hospital. Damper turned herself in Wednesday after previously being charged with tampering with evidence.
A GoFundMe set up in Holmes honor has reached over $30,000 in donations, including one from Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans.
