Janet Jackson is adding to her trophy collection with yet another prestigious honor: the BMI Icon Award, handed out annually by the performing rights organization BMI. According to the PR Newswire, She will receive the award August 30th at the 2018 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta.
