Angela Simmons former fiancé, Sutton Tennyson, who is also the father of her two-year-old son, was shot and killed at his home in Atlanta on Saturday (November 3rd). The Atlanta police department told the publication that they responded to a “shots fired” call at Tennyson’s home. Officers found him dead in his garage with multiple gunshot wounds. Reports initially said that the death was a result of a home invasion. However, TMZ reports that police said Sutton was talking to another man in his driveway and when the conversation escalated, Tennyson was shot. The suspect fled in a car. Simmons spoke on Tennyson’s passing on social media and said, “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I’m hurting. I’m numb. Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone. I can’t believe I’m even saying Rest in Peace Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise. Tennyson’s attorney “It’s devastating to hear about this tragedy. Mr. Tennyson was a loving father and an overall prince of a man. Tennyson was 37-years-old. He and Angela called off their engagement in 2017.
