The Book of Mormon is a hilariously funny musical playing at the Hobby Center thru January 20th, 2019.
Watching as two Elders in the Mormon religion travel to Africa to transform the lives of a tribe that has no respect for God, much less any religious faith, proved to be more than a challenge. I found myself holding my side most of the evening while they dealt with circumstances out of the realm of understanding. The entire cast was colorful and lively; but my hat goes off to actors that portrayed Elder Arnold & Nubulugi for larger than life performances.
The satire of this musical was as close to perfect as I’ve ever seen. Poking fun at the Mormon beliefs, while expressing how important it is to show love and have a servants heart.
