Diana Ross said she wasn’t going to wait for someone else to give her a tribute, she’d do it herself.

The iconic diva wished herself a happy birthday (it’s not until March!) on stage and belted out some of her favorite hits in front of an enthralled Staples Center audience.

“When I was a little girl, I thought the joy of singing made me happy, it made my parents happy and it led to this day and it brings me joy,” Ross said. “Through my life, there has always been music and its power.”

Ross made sure the crowd got on its feet for “Reach Out And Touch,” and “The Best Years Of My Life”. Watch the performance below.
