“Actually, my best friend introduced us,” Tamela says. “She went to high school with David and at the time David was singing in a group with Kirk Franklin called Humble Hearts. But my friend took me to the school to sing for them! So she brought me and her grandmother went to the school …”
David interjected, “She out sung all of us.”
Tamela added, “So a little time later, I started singing with the guys.”
