Report: Potential Homicide at Rice University Staff Told to Shelter-In-Place, Classes Canceled

Officials are asking students and staff to remain indoors as authorities continue their investigation into a potential homicide at Jones College, a residential college at Rice University.
News of the incident was confirmed via the university’s official Twitter page as they canceled all classes, events and told faculty to shelter in place and students to stay in their rooms “until further notice” just after 6pm Monday (August 26).
